A single unit combines the functions of an audio cassette recorder, video cassette recorder and radio receiver. The unit has an input to a TV signal tuner (22) and a radio signal tuner (30). The tuning stages connect with a signal interface unit (50) for selection control of VCR deck (23) or the audio deck (32). The interface unit has a video decoder (25), TV-FM demodulator (26) and a radio FM demodulator (31). A selector (12) allows the input to the audio deck to be either TV or radio source. A similar selection facility (11) is provided for the VCR deck. ADVANTAGE - Provides flexibility in TV and radio signal recording.
