The proposal is for the arrangement of a bedroom for the accommodation business. The head end of the bed area (30) is against a wall (14) with a window in it and extends across the entire width between the two sidewalls (16) and (18) adjoining the window wall (14). In a door wall (12) opposite the window wall (14) there is an entrance door (20). The bed area (30) is higher than an ordinary bed and supported on trusses (28) extending from sidewall to sidewall. Beneath the bed area (30) may be fitted a small cupboard (42). For single occupation the bed area has bedclothes for one person. For double occupation additional bedclothes may be taken from the cupboard (42) beneath the bed area. Depending whether the guest has paid for single or double occupation, only one key for the entrance door or an additional key for the cupboard (42) holding the additional bedclothes is/are issued.
