The support for a patient whilst undergoing therapeutic treatment consists of panels which are hinged together and supported on legs (16). The appliance consists of a head panel (2) which is hinged to the back support panel (3) which in turn is hinged to the middle panel (4). The middle panel is hinged to foot support panels and the hinge axes of all the hinges, which connect the panels one to another, are aligned at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the appliances. USE/ADVANTAGE - Supporting a patient undergoing therapeutic treatment. The hinged panels enable the patient to be supported in any required position.
