The analyser contains an infrared source (1) with an arrangement for producing an alternating beam, an absorption cuvette (6) for the gas to be analysed, an interference filter, a radiation receiver (7) and an evaluation circuit. The receiver signal, corresp. to the gas concn. in the cuvette, is multiplied (13) by a signal from an amplifier (12) dependent on the source power and ambient temp. The product is added (15) to a reference signal and the result displayed (18). USE/ADVANTAGE - Continuous measurement. Receiver signal drift caused by heating up of radiation source is suppressed by continuous correction.
