The stand has first and second crossing tubes (1,2), pivoted about a hinge pin (3). They carry a table top (4), fastened to the first tube. The table top has index holes (7) in a curve around the hinge pin, to engage with a journal (13). The journal is operated manually against spring force, to adjust relative position of the tubes. The indexing journal is fastened to the first arm (14) of a two-armed lever (15). The lever is located in the second tube (2), between the hinge pin and the top tube end. The second lever arm (16) has an actuator element, which projects through a side aperture (17) of the second tube. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stand for a keyboard is simple to use.
