When on failure the automatic brake control system cuts out, an automatic emergency control system comes into play with pedal (9) operated electro-hydraulic servo or metering valves (17,18) with connections to emergency electrical and hydraulic supply systems. The connection of the emergency current supply takes place via gate circuits (12,13) which are adjustable by the pedals (9) and influence the position indicator (7,8) working on emergency current supply for control of the electro-hydraulic servo valves or metering valves (17,18) acting as pressure regulating valves. For the gate circuits (12,13) diodes are inserted. USE/ADVANTAGE - Immediate control of wheel braking systems in aircraft upon failure of main braking system.
