Microcomputer with at least one voltage changover circuit for two switching elements - prevents leakage current caused by deviations in transistor parameters arising during manufacture.
Microcomputer with at least one voltage changover circuit for two switching elements - prevents leakage current caused by deviations in transistor parameters arising during manufacture.
A microcomputer has at least one voltage changeover circuit with one switching element supplying a common line with an operating voltage, a second switching element for supplying the commn line with a larger write voltage and a switching element selector. Data are read from and EPROM using the operating voltage and written into it using the right voltage. A leakage current protection device prevents current flow via the second switching element to its associated connector, whereby the current flow depends on the operating voltage applied to the common line when the first element is switched on and the second off. ADVANTAGE - The microcomputer circuit prevents leakage current from the Vcc to the Vpp connection caused by deviations in transistor parameters arising during manufacture.
