Label placing method for paper rolls - has grab, to lift label off inclined surface, and to execute transfer and press-on movement

The method is for placing of a marking label on the end faces of a paper roll (1). The label is lifted off a surface, one side is activated to form an adhesive surface, the label is aligned parallel to the roll end, and the adhesion surface is pressed against the roll. The surface (3) is at an angle relative to the horizontal. The label is lifted and aligned by a grab element (7), which executes a liner horizontal transfer movement. Element and label are moved towards the end face of the roller. Simultaneously, the grab element is moved about a joint (8) into a vertical position, parallel to the end face of the roll, and pressed against it by the horizontal transfer movement. USE/ADVANTAGE - Label placing machine. Number of required transfer movements is reduced.
