To control data flow between outstations and a main station, a data indication channel is between the stations in addition to the data link, to carry an indication signal to the main station. The indication signals from a number of outstations are assembled into a priority sequence so that data from a number of stations are not carried at the same time, but are sent according to their assigned priority to the main station. USE/ADVANTAGE - The system can be used to carry data between a number of spinning stations or winders/groups and a central control unit. The operation ensures min. delay in data passage between the stations.
