The stereo headphones have at least one sound transducer for each headphone supported by a holder (1) at a position which is offset from the headphone capsule vertical plane (L) and which lies below the headphone capsule horizontal plane (H). One sound transducer (2) is arranged pushed back opposed to a direction of sight. Pref. the holder supports three miniature loudspeakers (2,3,4), two of which lie on either side of the vertical plane in respective lower quadrants of the hearing capsule, the third (4) lying along the vertical plane (L) at the bottom of the hearing capsule. All three headphones lie along a common arc. ADVANTAGE - Ensures that audible sound appears in front of listener.
