Sensor output signal peak detection and processing circuit - includes two peak-value-holding circuits operating on phase-adjusted input and differential output of bridge
One side of the bridge (9) is supplied with an AC signal from an oscillator (10), and its opposite diagonal (c-d) is wired to a differential amplifier (11). The input signal is applied after phase adjustment (13) to one peak-value-holding circuit (31), while the other (32) holds the peak output (12). The signs of the peaks are discriminated (33) for control of the output stage (36) following digitisation (34) and buffering (35). USE/ADVANTAGE - With, e.g., magnetostrictive torque sensor, strain gauge or differential transformer-converter, precision of detection is improved with exclusion of influences of phase difference dependent on sensor variation.
