The CRT deflection yoke has a stray magnetic field blocking element (6) providing a magnetic field which opposes the stray magnetic field generated by the horizontal deflection coil and which uses 2 coils (11) opposing a flange (4) and centred relative to the centre axis of the deflection yoke.
