The connector has a central connector plug body (6) with a number of moulded-in contact bushes (2, 4) that connect with cable wires (5) in the main body. The connector plug is intended to engage with a housing and is to be secured by a threaded sleeve (8). The sleeve is produced with an internal thread that locates on a mating thread. The threaded sleeve is secured by a ring (12) of elastic material (13). This has a radial projection (13) which fits in a hole in the body. USE/ADVANTAGE - Suitable for mass prodn.
