The central heating system has a fluid or steam-form heat carrier and has a pipe or pipe register in homogeneous body (1) of artificial stone mostly of mineral compsn. e.g. concrete. The stone contains cellulose fibres for reinforcement and artificial additional material in small amounts in order to improve its technical properties, via, heat conductivity, heat expansion, elasticity. The rear side of the heating body (1) is coated with an insulating sheet of felt or cork, ensuring that the heat is completely radiated forwards. ADVANTAGE - The body has a high heat emission factor, no burning risk at high running temperatures, and even heat distribution in the room without draughts.
