An electrical cabling arrangement for distributing a signal from a wiring harness in a car requires that at least either the ignition coil or the set of fuel injectors, or both, is mounted on the upper section of the engine. A plug unit fits on top of the coil or injectors. A socket unit for the supply of electrical signals to the coil or injectors is mounted on the inner surface of the cylinder head cover mating with the plug unit. This cover also includes the necessary wiring, the whole assembly being an integral unit. A further connector supplies power to this unit from the wiring harness. ADVANTAGE- Neat and efficient connection of coil/injectors to cable harness.
