The side faces extend parallel between a top face (1) and similar sized bottom surface (2) parallel to same. The top face and base are alternately provided with radially inwardly aligned curved indentations (thread curves 9 to 14) which protrude from the side faces (15 to 20). The apices of these indentations lie on a curve corresponding to the core diameter of the threaded bolt and are angled according to the thread pitch of the bolt. First the nut is placed on the threaded bolt so that the apex adjoins a thread flank. Central pressure is applied to the outer area of the thread curve in the axial direction of the bolt. USE- For screw connections requiring only a slight tightening moment.
