Since the green compact has sufficient strength and reduced volume in comparison with the incineration ashes before compacting, it enables mass dumping without causing secondary pollution. Moreover, if the green compact is fired to have the bulk specific gravity of 1.4-3.5, both the volume and weight are reduced much more, realizing easy handling of the resulted burned product.
