The invention relates to a multipart foot-bed sole with a cork foot-bed (1), the thickness of which is brought to the only just justifiable minimum. Mounted under the cork foot-bed (1) is a wedge (2), the front edge of which ends approximately under the forefoot head of the shoe wearer. The actual outsole (3), which is kept thin for the purpose of weight-saving and flexibility, consists of a material of suitable scuff resistance and hardness, for example PU or EVA. It is raised extremely high in the toe region (4), i.e. gondola-shaped. In the heel region (6) also, the outsole (3) can be raised in order to increase tread comfort during walking. Raised shell edges (5, 8) can be provided in the toe and heel region if required. IMAGE
