The present invention relates to improvements to be made to cells, in the field of photoelectric photometry, making it possible to conduct a very high-absorption measurements by using light-radiation spectral analysis instruments. This cell 5 is divided into two parts A, B by a central partition 9. The parts A and B are fitted with two pipes each, for entry and exit of the liquid, 1, 2, 3, 4. The part A and the part B are therefore two cells with flow independence, which can be joined. The optical paths of the parts A and B may be the same or different, dependent upon the use. This device is particularly advantageous for analyzing products which achieve very high optical densities. It also makes it possible to double the number of cells, without altering the apparatus.
