A process for colouring mineral or synthetic particles, in particular gravel, crushed stone, glass, quartz, granite, chalk and the like by means of a mixture of a) pigments or dyes, b) resins and c) solvents, followed by removing the greater part of the solvent by suction. This process, carried out at ambient temperature, makes it possible to achieve reproducible colorations.
