a) The invention relates to a method for the continuous anti-blocking treatment of a strand of permanent adhesive material, more particularly a hot-melt adhesive, at the output of a mixer-extruder, as well as a device allowing implementation of this method and product obtained thereby. b) The method is characterised in that the strand 7 is made to pass through a bed of an anti-blocking agent which is fluidised or in suspension, so as to deposit a fine powdery film on its surface, then the strand 7 thus coated is cooled and cut to the desired length, and the fragments thus obtained are packaged directly without taking additional precautions. c) The invention applies to continuous anti-blocking treatments of a permanent adhesive material.
