The apparatus relates to holding a fractured limb which is difficult to consolidate in a neutral and firm position. The square-lattice mesh reinforcement is composed of a chest strap and a shell in two parts, one of which is solidly attached to the chest strap and the other of which opens for passage of the arm and has an upper part ending at the shoulder, all the attachments being made of self-gripping fabrics.
