Synthetic material reclaimation machine - has extruder with feed hopper input material sensor controlling machine and granule pnuematic transport from die face cutter with convergent=divergent geometry giving granule
Machine for recyling synthetic waste has an extruder (A) with: a transversal sensor (10) movable within a body fitted with a sensor detecting its longitudinal penetration into the feed hopper to contact the synthetic material in the feed zone. The position information is transmitted to a controlled regulating the machine function. At its down stream end the extruder (A) has a conical nose piece (5) with a series of radial holes (25) through which the material exits and is chipped by a rotating blade (32a). Arouund the cutter is a convergent cone (7b) leading to a blower (6) duct (7) producing a pneumatic transport of the material granules to a hopper (C). The noise (5) and cone (7) form a convergent, divergent path for the blower air flow that cools the granules. USE/ADVANTAGE - Reclamination of synthetic material waste, partic. from blow extrusion to recycle. The granules produced can be stored for re-use without compaction, solidification or causing feed problems as addition of strips can do.
