The case has one practically flat surface (10). A flat plate (14) is articulated to the top of this by one edge. It rests against the surface in its closed position and is held in an inclined position by a plate (28). This is articulated to the surface by one edge and its other edge rests against the centre of the first plate. The support plate is stitched to the surface along its edge which is covered by a piece of leather, or plastic material (30).
