The mist producer, designed to deliver a gas such as air containing a mist e.g. of fine water droplets, consists of a turbine (8) to circulate the gas through a duct with an outlet (11), a mist generator (35) round a reservoir (31) of the liq., and a housing (2) which contains the turbine, drive and mist generator. The housing has a chamber with an aperture for the outlet (11), a second aperture (30) through which the mist generated in the reservoir is expelled by the gas, and an outlet (24) for the gas and mist mixt. The housing also has a supporting platform (20) for the reservoir, which can be removed, and a seal (34) between the upper end of the reservoir and a housing surface (19) opposite the platform. The space between the platform and the upper surface of the housing is accessible from the side for easier fitting and removal of the reservoir. ADVANTAGE - Design simplicity and more convenient to use.
