The square is made out of spring steel and has a section in the form of a widening `U'. This square (2) fits in the mitred corners of metal sections that have a cross section basically similar to that of the square (2) except that their sides form right angles sufficiently wide so that when the square is forced into the corners of the frame, the spring effect against the internal surfaces metal section, holds it in position. With four of these squares a clamped up frame can be produced and with the added refinement of having a double fold in the form of an `S' (6) to form a loop, the frame so produced can be suspended by a cord. Use/Advantage - A square joining piece for the fixing of the corners of a frame or similar structures which makes for a rigid fixture.
