PURPOSE:The titled yeast strain that includes a plasmid, pARM1, which simultaneously manifests specific two enzymes in the yeast, thus being in oxidation, industrial waste water treatment and production of medicines. CONSTITUTION:A plasmid pAMC1 is treated with BamH1 to obtain a DNA segment including a gene coding an ADH1 gene promotor, P-450MC, and an ADH1 terminator. The DNA segment is inserted into a yeast-manifesting vector to obtain a plasmid pARM1 (C) which simultaneously manifests rat liver cytochrom P-450C (A) and NADPH-cytochrom P-450 reductase (see the figure). The plasmid C is used to transform Saccharomyces cerevisiae AH22 strain to give a transformed yeast strain which can simultaneously produce both components A and B.
