PURPOSE:To obtain a homogeneous shearing reinforcing bar with high performance and high quality by winding and overlapping steel wires having a diameter less than a specific diameter provided with such specific characteristics as the extent of tensile strength, yield strength and elongation in the shape of a square more than two rings, and forming in the shape of a hoop. CONSTITUTION:Steel wires 4 provided with such specific mechanical characteristics as the extent of tensile strength 70-150kgf/mm2, yield strength 60-140kgf/mm2 and elongation 5-15% by heat treatment or control cooling immediately after hot rolling, if desirable, are wound and overlapped in the shape of a square more than three rings, and a winding, overlapping and shearing reinforcing bar 1 is formed. Both ends 2 of the reinforcing bar 1 are accompanied with the periphery of the reinforcing bar 1 by bending and working it in the vicinity of one corner, and the reinforcing bar 1 is bound with a binding wire 3. According to the constitution, the working from a wire to a hoop is easily automated, and production efficiency can be improved to obtain a high strength shearing reinforcing bar at a low cost.
