PURPOSE:To provide a solventless coating composition which has no problem from safety and hygienic viewpoints and gives a coating film excellent in adhesiveness, anticorrosiveness, resistance to discoloration, etc., by combining an epoxy-base principal component containing a specified bisphenol epoxy resin, a toluene resin, and a pigment with an amine-base curing agent. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy-base principal component is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. bisphenol epoxy resin having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule and an epoxy equivalent of below 250 (e.g. bisphenol A diglycidyl ether), 5-60 pts.wt. toluene resin (e.g. a toluene/paraformaldehyde condensate), and various pigments (e.g. iron oxide red), an extender pigment (e.g. titanium oxide), an additive (e.g. a thickening agent), etc., usually in use. This epoxy-base principal component is combined with an amine-base curing agent (e.g. an aliphatic polyamine) to produce a two-pack solventless coating composition.
