PURPOSE:To prepare the subject paper having excellent strength in a state also capable of preparing thin paper by employing an aqueous slurry comprising shot-less inorganic fibers, pulp and an emulsion binder. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. of shot-less inorganic fibers containing shots having sizes of =44mum in an amount of =10wt.% and (B) 5-20 pts.wt. of highly beaten pulp such as NBKP pulp beaten into a Canada standard water filtration degree of =100ml are mixed with (C) 5-20 pts.wt. of an emulsion binder containing emulsified acrylic resin, synthetic rubber, etc., and the prepared aqueous slurry is formed into the objective paper having a thickness of 0.05-0.2mm.
