摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture the refining agent which refines primary crystal Si in a hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy cast body at low cost by applying P-contg. alloy plating to the surface of an Al material. CONSTITUTION:P-contg. alloy plating (of Ni-P, Ni-Cu-P, Mn-P or the like) is applied to the surface of an Al or Al alloy material by electroplating or electroless plating. In this way, at the time of obtaining the cast body of a hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy, a refining agent which refines primary crystal Si can be manufactured from an inexpensive raw material to improve the mechanical characteristics of the cast body.
