PURPOSE: To laterally carry the cut foot parts of stems for the facilitation of their post treatments by disposing a laterally carrying device below a cutting device for cutting the lower parts of the stems than their grain-having parts. ;CONSTITUTION: The foot parts of planted stems are cut with a cutting device 9, and the cut stems are nipped and carried with a carrier 11. The lover parts of the stems than their grain-having parts are cut with a cutting device 10, and the cut grain-having parts are carried with a carrier 14.
