WASHER FOR FILTER MEDIUM IN FILTER USING FLOATING FILTER MEDIUM

PURPOSE: To provide a device where a filter medium is washed and regenerate while continuing filter operation without the filter medium flowing out by forming a washing pass for the filter medium between the top of a filter bed and a separation bed and making it freely openable and closable. ;CONSTITUTION: A tank filter 1 packed with a floating filter medium 2 is connected to a separation tank 6 at the lower part. A filter medium washing pipe 8 is arranged between the separation tank 6 and the top of the tank filter 1. On the other hand, the separation tank 6 is provided with a withdrawal pump 10 at the lower part. When washing the filter medium, the filter medium is drawn out together with water into the separation tank from the top of the tank filter through a washing pipe 8 to wash the filter medium. After the washing is finished, the water in the tank filter is drawn out from its lower part and is caused to flow countercurrenly to the floating filter medium, which is rinsed. At the same time, rinsing water and waste washing water are separated from the filter medium to be discharged to outside the separation tank. A series of the washing operations for the filter medium is performed separately from the filter operation in the tank filter without the filter operation being interrupted.
