PURPOSE:To obtain the present coloring agent consisting of a composition containing coating having a reactive group or synthetic resin for adhesive having a reactive group and pigment as main components and capable of readily exhibiting a spot pattern or flow pattern to a molded article without changing molding conditions. CONSTITUTION:The aimed coloring agent obtained by blending (A) a synthetic resin (e.g., polyvinyl alcohol, aminoalkyd resin, epoxy resin or urethane resin) for adhesive with (B) a granulated pigment and drying the blend, capable of widely using to a molding thermoplastic resin of different kind and previously controlling pattern in production stage. The above-mentioned coloring agent is added to a thermoplastic resin for molding, preferably at an amount of =5wt.% and the blend is molded.
