PURPOSE: To obtain a tufted carpet loom capable of rapidly and simply carrying out the gauge changeover operation without cutting a pile yarn group inserted into a yarn guide, yarn feed rolls, etc., and its gauge changeover device. ;CONSTITUTION: This tufted carpet loom 1 is equipped with yarn feed rolls 16 detachably installed through a pair of nearly U-shaped brackets 13 on both sides in a frame 2. Furthermore, this gauge changeover device in the tufted carpet loom is obtained by providing a standing mounting frame 23 having a required height on a movable underframe 19, respectively protrusively installing a pair of nearly U-shaped transversely installed supporting members 32 on both sides of the mounting frame 23 corresponding to the detachable yarn feed rolls 16 constructing the tufted carpet loom 1 and a pair of horizontal arms 24 to 30 having a required length corresponding to yarn guides 3 to 8 and needle bars 12 on both sides and respectively attaching required pinching members 31 to the tips of the respective horizontal arms 24 to 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
