PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and to improve the durability by setting an object value of the throttle opening from the load of a gas engine, the outer air temperature, and the engine cooling water temperature, and feedback-controlling the flow rate regulating means of the fuel gas. ;CONSTITUTION: A heat pump device is composed of a coolant passage 16 passing from a compressor 12 driven by a gas engine 1, to a condenser 13, an expansion valve 14, and an evaporator 15 in order. In a fuel gas passage 3, a flow rate regulating means 5 composed of a motor-operated valve or an injector is set. While pressure sensors 17 and 18 of a coolant are provided in the coolant passage 16, a condensation temperature sensor 19 is provided to the condenser 13, and an evaporation temperature sensor 20 is provided to the evaporator 15. The load of the gas engine is calculated from the pressure of the coolant or the combination of the temperatures. An object value of the throttle opening is set from the above load, the outer air temperature, and the engine cooling water temperature. The flow rate regulating means 5 of the fuel gas is feedback- controlled to make the throttle opening to the object value. The cost can be reduced, consequently.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
