PURPOSE:To facilitate the temp. control of a test at high temp. while enhancing workability, by using a box body wherein a recessed part capable of receiving a ceramics test specimen is formed to the upper part thereof and a notch part for arranging a fulcrum member is formed to the bottom part thereof in the direction crossing the longitudinal direction at right angles. CONSTITUTION:A jig 20 is constituted as a box shape provided with a recessed part 22 capable of receiving a test piece 18 corresponding to JIS and a notch part 34, to which a pin 26 being a fulcrum point is arranged, is formed to the bottom part of said jig 20. This jig 20 is fed in a preheating oven 110 by a carrier 130 and transferred to the heating oven 120 by a pusher 140 to perform a breaking test. After the test piece was broken, the jig 20 is pushed out of the oven by a pusher 150. By this method, broken pieces are not scattered out of the jig even if the test piece is broken and the jig is a small and simple structure and also easy to handle.
