WEB-SPREADING DEVICE OF EMBROIDERY MACHINE

PURPOSE: To efficiently sew the plural positions of a web to be processed by automatically rotating the web. ;CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical web-spreading frame 2 for spreading a web to be processed is inserted onto the bed 1 of an embroidery machine, and longitudinally movably and rotatably supported on a part of a frame through guide rods 5 with a pair of supporting arms 6. Mutually faced two openings 9a, 9b are formed in the tip of the web-spreading frame 2 in correspondence to a needle-falling hole 8. The web W is spread on the web-spreading frame 2 so as to cover the openings 9a, 9b, and held with a holder 10. A movable frame 14 is attached to a covering plate 15, and a wire 19 is wound on the outer periphery of the web-spreading frame 2 and disposed below the lower surface of the covering plate 15 in a tensed state. The web-spreading frame is longitudinally moved with the longitudinal movement of the movable frame 14 through the fitting of projections 4 to grooves 17, and is half-rotated with the lateral movement of the movable frame 14 through the wire 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
