PURPOSE: To increase the degree of freedom for the construction plan of a building and reduce the construction cost by forming a plurality of subsoil improvement bodies of large bore in a weak subsoil immediately under a building foundation, and jointing the foundation under tension to the improvement bodies with ground anchors. ;CONSTITUTION: A pit is drilled under a building foundation and a pipe 2 is inserted therein. In addition, an ultra-high jet flow containing a curing agent is blown underground via the pipe 2 and a columnar soil improvement body 3 of large bore is formed with the agent and sediment, while the surrounding ground is being drilled. Before the improvement body 3 is cured, a ground anchor tension member 6 and the underground fixing body 4 of a ground anchor are buried in the body 3. After the improvement body 3 is cured and the strength thereof is realized, a building foundation 7 as constructed and the improvement body 3 are jointed to each other under tension with the tension member 6 tightened, thereby fixing the foundation 7 to the improvement body 3. According to this constitution, the degree of freedom for the construction plan of a building can be increased, compared with the conventional method, and the construction cost can also be reduced, compared with the conventional foundation piling method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
