PURPOSE: To provide a GPS signal observation time synchronizing system which, in the case where relative navigation is executed between two satellites or between the satellite and a space shuttle through GPS, can synchronize the measuring time of a GPS receiver mounted on each moving body by a simple method without adding a special function to the GPS receiver and moreover without causing the problem of transmission delay. ;CONSTITUTION: Each moving body is provided with counters 11, 21 to count the number of PN epochs of PN code generated by a transmitter and a receiver 10, 20. After a command for resetting the counter is sent from the transmitter and the receiver 10, 20 to the moving body on a partener side, each of counters 11, 21 begins to count the number of PN epoch, and when counted value attains a prescribed each counter sends a control signal to GPS receivers 12, 22.
