PURPOSE:To reduce production of shock during transmission and to prevent damage of acceleration properties, by controlling a clutch oil pressure so that jerk value is held at a desired value. CONSTITUTION:Plural gradual increase patterns of a clutch oil pressure by means of which a jerk value is held at a desired value under a condition in that a change in time of the coefficient of disk friction of a clutch for transmission is zero are set according to a car weight and a speed step. A car weight is detected, and during transmission, a clutch oil pressure gradual increase pattern responding to a car weight and a speed step to be selected is selected from plural clutch gradual increase pattern. A clutch oil pressure is gradually increased according to the selected clutch gradual increase pattern. This constitution decreases production of shock during transmission and prevents damage of acceleration properties.
