摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title clutch facing causing no friction drop-off in elevated temperature region by impregnating and covering a glass fiber-contg. fibrous base material with a thermosetting resin and making a pulpy aromatic polyamide fiber-dispersed formula rubber adhere thereto followed by hot press molding. CONSTITUTION:(A) At least glass fiber-contg. fibrous base material is impregnated and covered with (B) a thermosetting resin such as phenolic resin. Thence, (C) a pulpy aromatic polyamide fiber-dispersed formula rubber is made to adhere to the resultant fibrous base material. The resulting intermediate product is rolled and put to hot press molding, thus obtaining the objective non-asbestos clutch facing of semi-molded type.
