PURPOSE: To improve slag permeation resistance, structural spalling resistance, joint melt damage and wear resistance which have not been solved by a conventional technology and to extremely better slaking resistance. ;CONSTITUTION: 100wt.% of a refractory material consisting essentially of magnesia and dolomite is blended with 1.0-5.0wt.% of titania fine powder having ≤200μm. Thickness of slag permeation is reduced by 32.5% in practical use. As the result of the reduction, drop in 5.9% melt rate is recognized and stag permeation resistance can greatly be improved. Extreme effects on structural spalling resistance and corrosion resistance are obtained by the improvement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
