FIXING OF THIN PIPE FOR SHIELD SECONDARY CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE:To dispense with a reinforcing jig in a pipe and perform the construction work under a simple condition by conveying a thin pipe made of synthetic resin in an existing obsolete pipe, inserting bolts in the radial direction from the thin pipe to fix it, and injecting and hardening mortar in a gap between the inner and outer pipes. CONSTITUTION:A thin pipe 2 made of synthetic resin such as FRP is conveyed into an existing obsolete pipe 1 such as a Hume concrete pipe, a spacer 4 is inserted on the bottom 3 to match the center axis height H of both 1 and 2, bolts 5... are inserted in the radial direction from the thin pipe 2. Tips of bolts... are driven into the inner wall of the existing obsolete pipe 1, the thin pipe 2 is concentrically fixed in the obsolete pipe 1, then mortar is injected and hardened in a gap 6 between the inner and outer pipes. The construction work can be progressed under a simple condition without protruding or scattering obstacles in the pipe after the thin pipe is conveyed in.
