FLAME PORT TILTING-TYPE LIGHTER HAVING COMBUSTION GAS EJECTING TUBE CAPABLE OF REGULATING FLAME LENGTH

PURPOSE: To permit the regulation of the flow rate of ejected combustion gas with an inexpensive constitution by a method wherein an igniting mechanism, contractable into up-and-down direction, and a combustion gas ejecting tube, capable of being slanted forward, are supported respectively by a fuel vessel while a combustion gas ejecting passage is opened by the pushdown operation of the igniting mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: A flame port tube 2 is fitted into the upper part of a combustion gas ejecting tube 1 while these parts are received in a guide tube 3 used both for windshield and tilting of the flame port. A flame port tube tilting projection 4 for an igniting mechanism is arranged near the flame port tube 2 while a supporting body 5 and a retaining annular unit 9 are arranged below a combustion gas ejecting tube 1. An elastic spiral spring 6 for pushing a flint, a slender projection 7 for guiding the igniting mechanism and a file wheel 8 are arranged respectively above the retaining annular unit 9. On the other hand, a fuel tank 13 and a combustion gas ejecting passage 14 are arranged respectively below the supporting body 5. The upper part of the combustion gas ejecting tube 1 is pushed down by the flame port tilting projection 4 to open the combustion gas ejecting passage 14.
