POLYOXYMETHYLENE ARTICLE HAVING PRINTABLE SURFACE, METHOD FOR PROVIDING PRINTABILITY TO POLYOXYMETHYLENE ARTICLE, AND PRINTING METHOD ON POLYOXYMETHYLENE ARTICLE
PURPOSE: To improve a printability of a fire-retardant polyoxymethylene article for ultraviolet-curing ink. ;CONSTITUTION: A polyoxymethylene article is molded, irradiated with an ultraviolet light, and treated with a corona discharge or an electron beam to be provided with a surface having a [C-O]n bonding peak/C-C bonding peak ratio of 2.5 or more, where a [C-O]n bonding peak is at 302eV in an X ray photoelectron spectrum and a C-C bonding peak is at 305eV. In this manner, the surface of the polyoxymethylene article has a printability for ultraviolet-curing ink.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
