PURPOSE: To provide a method for extracting blue, green and red exposure recordings from an imagewise exposed silver halide photographic element and a photographic element particularly adapted to the method. CONSTITUTION: This method is composed of a stage for subjecting the imagewise exposed photographic element including a base and a series of blue, green and red recordable silver halide emulsion layer units which generate the images of the same hue at the time of processing to photographic processing and a stage for obtaining the discrete exposed recordings of blue, green and red from the photographic element.
