WOVEN CLOTH WINDING METHOD AROUND CLOTH ROLL AND WEAVING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of winding creases by guiding the end part of woven cloth extended in the rotating direction of a cloth roll between a press roll and the cloth roll and oscillating the press roller for clamping the end part of the woven cloth toward the cloth roll. ;CONSTITUTION: A motor is operated to oscillate a press roller 24 clockwise to be brought into contact with a cloth roller 90. As the press roller 24 is oscillated clockwise, a part 12c of a woven cloth 2 which goes round the press roller 24 and reaches the lower peripheral surface of the cloth roll 90 is slackened to come down. Thus, the frictional force between the press roller 24 and the woven cloth 12 is suddenly lowered so that the press roller 24 is driven by the cloth roll 90 and the end part 12b of the woven cloth 12 clamped between the press roller 24 and the cloth roll 90 is subjected to feeding force. When the operation of the motor is stopped, the press roller 24 is oscillated by its dead load so that the woven cloth 12 wound round the cloth roll 90 is pressed by the force corresponding to the tension of the woven cloth 12 so as to prevent generation of winding creases.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
