PURPOSE: To efficiently remove an inorganic electrolyte from a polymer solution in an ion-exchange system comprising a tank for storing an acrylonitrile polymer solution, a tank for supplying an ion-exchange substance, and a strainer having a given constitution by giving the system a specific construction. ;CONSTITUTION: The title system comprises a tank 1 for storing an acrylonitrile polymer solution, a tank 4 for supplying an ion-exchange substance (a), and a strainer 2 provided inside with a scraper and having a solution discharge part 2d for separating the solution from the substance (a) after purification and discharging it outside the strainer 2, the strainer 2 being connected with the tank 4.
