PURPOSE:To enable a bath to be easily taken by a person left as lying, whichever side a bathtub is arranged in a right or left side of a bed, by forming a structure, which enables a back receiving unit to be mounted and removed selectively before and after a waist receiving unit, and selecting a side of mounting the back receiving unit to the waist receiving unit in accordance with a direction of the person lying on the bed. CONSTITUTION:In accordance with a direction of a physically handicapped or bedridden old person lying on a bed 36, a back receiving unit 28 is connected in a front or rear side of a waist receiving unit 19. In a manner wherein both the waist receiving unit 19 and the back receiving unit 28 are positioned in the upper side of a bathtub 37, a movable strut 9 is a little lifted so as to float both the receiving units 19, 28 from the bed 36, being turned. A handle 10 is reversely rotated, and slowly lowering with the receiving units 19, 28, the person is immersed in hot water in the bathtub 37 and bathed in a condition that the person is left as lying. In this way, the physically handicapped person or the like can be easily bathed whichever direction the person lies before or after the bed 36 and whichever side the bathtub 37 is arranged of the bed 36.
